Outside the lifts in a Worli building. Sad.
A delhi boy whines and opines. Mainly about science, economics and politics. And the quirky things in life.
Such as the world of the “Professional Picture Framers Association” (see below). This certificate really cracked me up though I can’t fully explain why. If there is a Professional association, is there an Amateur association too?

Meta Aside: Isn’t the frame of the certificate quite shabby?
This picture was taken in a shop in Mumbai.
Gurgaon is still a ‘gaon’ with sheep co-existing with call centers and malls. These pictures were taken near the Max hospital — Very much in the heart of Gurgaon ‘town.’

The answer is (2) Mumbai. Yes! India’s aiports are finally improving. While it will take sometime for them to become “world class” this is a big change from the days of rusting airport coffee vending machines and depressing ITDC restaurants.
This picture was taken 16th April, 2008.
This bridge has been in the planning for decades. It will allow you to skip the narrow lanes of Mahim all together and get into Worli from Bandra directly! Wow!

These pictures were taken at Kala Ghoda in Fort, South Mumbai. Someone has very sweetly put a teeka on the puppy’s head. Unfortunately someone has also taken “ownership” of the puppy by tying it to the tree. I wonder whether this is a passing fancy and the puppy will be abandoned after a few weeks…or its something more permanent. I wish I could RFID this puppy and know what came of it over the months and years ahead. The world is so big and bad…and these strays so small and cute ![]()
