Really Funny and Bizarre!! These guys make up a fictitious organization and gate crash a Oil convention. They then claim to have found a new way to manufacture oil. You just have to check this out…
A lot of South Indian Temples employ Elephants. These Elephants represent Lord Ganesha and are used in many religious ceremonies. I just love these massive but gentle creatures. When you are near them you feel like they can crush you at any moment. They are usually chained but when you approach them closely (like I did) they can still attack you if they want to. But thats what makes it so exciting.
Observe the holy marks on the Elephant.
Here is another perspective.
I’m feeding the Elephant bananas. You purchase bananas from the shop in front of the temple. Its a way to pay for the upkeep of the elephant. You also earn some karma…

These parrots are supposed to read your fortune by picking a card that has your fate written on it. On the left of the photograph is my Parrot Astrologer. Taken in Pondicherry (or should we now say Puducherry) in September 2006.
